Walking day 17 ! Samos monastery

Today we left the mountains . After a steep 8 km downhill we arrived in The valley and from there it was another 13 km to Samos . Nice hike through lush green forests . Big change from the vineyards and grain fields. We had a nice big lunch ( we are always starving by the time we arrive and lunch is here between 2 and 3 pm ) and after that yay a washing machine in the hostel so I did laundry . While Tom was taking his daily siesta I took a tour of the amazing monastery. Tomorrow on to Sarria where we will meet up with Rick and Carrie :) and ..... We will have hiked 400 km !!! Ps also some fun other pics of the " forbidden to poop sign " that you see along the Camino lol .....and more good food :)
