Walking day 9

we had a great day ! Slept well and the scenery changed a bit . The last 2 days were kind of boring paths. Today it changed again for the better . We saw Stork nests and Roman bridges and rivers .

At one point I even got emotional there I stood on top of a hill with truly majestic fields around me and the perfect song on my I pod ha ha . It was a moment that I let it all sink in ...... again :) now our 2 day break has started . We will visit Burgos and Leon and then start hiking again . We finished now about 200 km so hopefully were warmed up enough to start hiking in the mountains of Galicia ! Tonight we are sleeping in an old hospital/ monastery for pilgrims . Very cool ! Everybody's laundry is drying outside . Ps I gave tommy the nickname "tommy tortilla " he LOVES it and eats it at least once a day :)
